ICBA BIM Promotion Office
The ICBA implements initiatives that aim to enhance efficiency and promote information sharing in building administration tasks.
These initiatives support the digitization of building confirmation applications and utilize shared databases that catalog vast amounts of information related to the Building Standards Act.
These efforts support the operational management of architects, designated confirmation inspection agencies, and local governments, contributing to the overall informatization of building administration.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the buildingSMART Japan (bSJ), the ICBA BIM Promotion Office is conducting a project to promote the use of CDE (Common Data Environment) for building confirmation applications. The project aims to reduce the workload associated with building confirmation applications by utilizing BIM (Building Information Modeling) in construction.
